Get to know me

Why I became a therapist
I've always had a curiosity for people's stories, both the hardships they've overcome and connection with joy and knowing oneself. It is the greatest honour to be alongside people in their darkest moments; to see the transformation towards compassion for themselves.
I will always be grateful to the therapists I had, past and present who gave me hope and helped me to grow in ways I never dreamed were possible. I'm intent on setting a legacy. Especially one where marginalized people experience gentleness and care, in a world that often feels unrelenting.
Seeing clients achieve their goals; especially in being more caring towards themselves, celebrating themselves, feeling hopeful towards possibility, is a profound treasure to me.
Goals for the future
My big dream is to be able to create more organizations and training that offer post cult support through Scotland, as often families are left with little support with professionals who are unsure how to help them.
I would love to work towards a standard of therapy (especially Art therapy) being as accessible and as neuro-affirming as it can be. To meet the needs of our wonderfully diverse communities.

My hobbies and interests
When I'm not working you'll often find me in the woods or the sea. I have a deep relationship with nature and its where I feel most connected with myself.
I love to forage, dry flowers, look for insects and mushrooms (2 of my special interests!) alongside going for a dip with cold water swimming.
