An overview of the therapy process
A personalised experience
This is a decision you and I can make together. One fit is not right for everyone and it can be difficult to anticipate how long or short therapy may be and this can be led by you.
When having our consultation and initial sessions, this is something we can explore in more depth.
Sometimes people access therapy for many years and for others it can be a shorter more focused piece of work. All durations are acceptable so long as they feel helpful.

Fees
My full rate fees are £50 per hour.
I have a set number of reduced fee rates reserved specifically for more marginalized members of the community (LGBT+, Disabled, POC, low income+), to keep therapy as accessible as it can be. If you feel you meet this criteria please ask if I have any reduced fee slots left. These slots are taken up quickly with a slow turnover.
If in the case there are none left, I can add you to an expression of interest list to make contact when one becomes available.
Fees are paid by BACS before the beginning of the session.
- The Process
Consultation
This introductory 40-minute session sets the foundation for the therapeutic journey. During the consultation, we will discuss therapy goals, expectations, and compatibility that align with your needs and interests.
- The Process
Time to decide
After the consultation, you'll have time to reflect. If you decide to proceed, we will make a mutual commitment to begin therapeutic work, initiating a structured plan for progress.
- The Process
Session plan and review agreement
Together, you'll agree on a set number of sessions before a review. This provides a timeline for assessing progress and adapting goals as needed.
- The Process
Long-term therapy decision
Following the initial review, you'll decide whether to continue with longer-term therapy based on your progress and comfort level. This step keeps the focus on your evolving needs and goals.
